Pokémon can not only be loyal companions, but also tasty treats. MeinMMO tells you the 5 tastiest Pokémon that definitely belong on your plate.
The Pokémon anime has shown several times that the cuddly pocket monsters are eaten. In the 16th anime episode, for example, Ash and Brock imagine delicious Magikarp sashimi and many other dishes with the water Pokémon. In Episode 47, James even tries to make Togepi a delicious meal.
Accordingly, we asked ourselves which are the tastiest of all Pokémon. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to taste-test the creatures, so we’re primarily going by their appearance and the respective Pokédex entry. If you take a closer look around the world of Pokémon, you will come across a variety of delicacies. We’ll tell you which creatures we would particularly like to eat.
We ranked the different Pokémon and sorted them according to their delicate characteristics. For the picky gourmets among you, we have also provided some alternatives that go in a similar direction.
5th place: Kikugi
Kikugi is a small Pokémon modeled after a cherry. Similar to real cherries, the Pokémon has two fruits, of which, according to the Pokédex, the “little ball” in particular is said to be particularly tasty and full of nutrients. Hopefully there are no annoying pits in Kikugi like in real cherries.
Since fruit is important for your diet, but there are far more delicious dishes, we have placed Kikugi at number 5 in the ranking. If you’re not a fan of cherries, there are plenty of fruit and vegetable alternatives in the Poké world just waiting to be eaten.
Although Tropius cannot be eaten directly, it does provide delicious bananas. Frubberl is less lucky because the Pokémon basically consists of a fruit and has a fruity, sweet scent that would make us want to bite. We can also imagine Halupenjo, Pumpdjinn, Olini and Tarnpignon in delicious dishes.
4th place: Porenta
First generation Porenta is an obvious dish. The Porenta itself can be wonderfully served as a soup or roast and even comes with the right leek. This saves you the tedious search for suitable side dishes.
According to the Pokédex, the Porenta population is expected to continue to decline as their habitat is threatened by increasing environmental degradation. But we believe that a few culinary gourmets got together and went hunting for Porenta. Because the Pokémon just looks good to eat.
A good alternative would be its further development Leek Zelot. Here the leek is even larger. According to the Pokédex, Leek Zealot should retreat from battles when the leek withers. But then it would simply be a waste of food, which is why the hunt for a good leek celot roast should take place in its prime.
