The EA FC 25 career has a few interesting new features to offer. Here we show you the most exciting new features at a glance.
In the past, the career mode has not exactly been known for its revolutionary new features. Really big innovations like the integration of a cooperative online mode, which fans have been wanting for years, have rarely been seen.
And that doesn’t change in EA FC 25. Nevertheless, EA is bringing some exciting new features this year and we’ll show them to you here.
Bring Zidane to Aachen in the 3rd division? No problem
In the player career of FC 25, you can now start a career with well-known old stars and bring them into the present as young versions. This is super unrealistic, but promises to be a lot of fun.
For example, you can sign up as a young Zinédine Zidane in Aachen and from there start a global career in the present day.
There is only one major drawback: some icons are only available to pre-orderers. Ronaldo (R9), Zidane and Beckham are reserved for pre-orderers only. If you do not pre-order FC 25, you can start your player career with the following icons:
It is questionable whether the pre-order icons will be unlocked for everyone later. We also do not yet know which icons will be added in the future.
Get started in the middle of the season with “Live Start Points”
In EA FC 25 it will be possible to start a career in the middle of the season. You can start whenever you want. The game remembers the results of all the major leagues and you can simply start your career whenever it suits you.
Your club has just lost the important derby and the championship is gone? So in FC 25 it should be possible to step in before such a game, do better than the real coach, and still save the season.

The feature will work in 11 different leagues in the team and player careers. According to EA, the feature will not appear immediately upon release of the game, but at a later date.
Make youth players better with new Rush mode
In the FC 25 career, there will be a youth tournament every two months, where the new 5V5 Rush mode will be played. Here you can use your youth players that you would like to improve. If you win the tournament, you will get a lot of experience for your rough diamonds.
You can also choose whether you want to play the youth players with their current values or with their potential. This means you can test early on how well your future superstar will play on the pitch.
Women’s football now also in the career
After women’s football was introduced to Ultimate Team last year, it’s now the turn of the career. There you can now take on the role of coach in 5 major women’s leagues, including the Women’s Champions League.

Are there differences to men’s football? According to EA, there will be no differences in the careers of male and female professionals. Only the salaries and budgets will be adjusted to be closer to real women’s football.
You can also switch from a women’s team to a men’s team and vice versa.
