Today, the suspected perpetrator was allowed to speak freely in the courtroom. He says he perceived the police as untrustworthy and didn’t believe they were real police, that’s why he fled when they came to his residence.
Planted evidence
His view of what happened from when he fled the home until he was caught by police differs greatly from what the officers told him three days ago. He says he didn’t swing his sword at them and he didn’t stab any of the police.
