The producers of Game of Thrones are filming an acclaimed science fiction epic for Netflix: In a few weeks we will be able to see The 3 Suns for ourselves. A clip was released in the last few days as a foretaste of the elaborate series.

The sci-fi series adapts a bestseller
The series is based on the acclaimed sci-fi novel The three suns (English: The Three-Body Problem) by the Chinese author Liu Cixin. This is the first volume of the so-called Trisolaris trilogyto which too The dark forest and Beyond time belong.

The series, worth around $200 million, was produced by the both showrunners of Game of Thrones, David Benioff and DB Weiss, as well as developed by Alexander Woo (The Terror, Manhattan). The other producing staff includes Brad Pitt, Rian Johnson (Knives Out) and Rosamund Pike (Wheel of Time).
The international cast includes well-known faces such as Liam Cunningham and John Bradley (Davos and Samwell from Game of Thrones), MCU veteran Benedict Wong, Eiza González (Ambulance) and Rosalind Chao (Mulan).
