In Call of Duty: Warzone 2, you can get certain advantages in battle thanks to Perk Packs, which will increase your chance of survival. That’s why we show you 3 of the best packs for perks and which play style they are suitable for.
What are Perk Packs? A lot has changed since the release of Warzone 2. So far, players have not been able to customize their perks themselves, like in Warzone 1. Instead, there are perk packages that players can already equip with ready-made combos.
This limits you in your freedom, but there are still good perk packs that you should prefer before you head for one of the best landing zones on Al Mazrah.
What are the best perk packs? Overall, the developers offer you eight ready-made perk combos that you can equip. Each of them has its area of application, but there are three options that are particularly worthwhile and these are:
There is currently only one perk pack with the Overkill perk, and the perks in the pack are not among the strongest. So if it’s worth it to you, you still get 2 primary weapons into play with your loadout – but not with all methods.
We will now explain to you which packages are good and which playstyle they suit.
Vanguard – The bundle for the sprinters among you
Which player are these perks suitable for? The Vanguard Pack is best suited for the rushers among you who like fast gameplay. Rapid Speed and Bomb Squad will allow you to sprint longer in Tactics mode while also being able to absorb more damage from explosive weapons from all sources except Killstreaks.
“Resupply” provides you with an additional primary equipment slot (grenades) and “Alert” shows you in your field of view if an enemy is nearby – but they must see you.
Basically, you are very mobile with the perks and can partially ignore grenade fire. Additionally, you’ll have an advantage towards the end of your match as you can more easily see where your opponents are staring at you.
Specter – The package for the ninjas among you
Which player are these perks suitable for? This pack is best suited for those of you who like to sneak and stalk their opponents. Rapid Speed increases the duration of your tactical dash while Tracker marks footprints left by nearby enemies. In addition, death locations of opponents are marked.
On top of that, Scout uses walls to show you where enemy gear, field gear, and killstreaks are located. This is how you can spot and avoid C4 charges or Claymores.
Last but not least, Ghost ensures that you cannot be tracked by drones, wearable radars, and heartbeat sensors. So you remain almost invisible in every respect – even if spirit may not be quite as strong as you think.
Warden – The package for the campers among you
Which player are these perks suitable for? The campers among you are particularly well served with the guard package. Battle Hardened provides the necessary resistance to Flash, EMP, and gas grenades, and Bomb Squad reduces the explosive damage you take. This is especially useful against the anti-camper gadget.
In order not to be noticed, “In Cold Blood” ensures that players with AI targeting systems and thermal sights cannot locate you. Soldiers with the Alerted perk will also not receive a warning when facing their opponents.
Finally, Overclocking gives you tactical advantages by allowing you to recharge your field gear and save another charge on top of that.
Do you still use your own perk packages? We can’t answer that yet. However, we assume that the developers could implement this feature at a later date. Actually, before the release, there was even an announcement that there were no perks at all to start with.
Warzone 1 used to score with extensive customization options for the perks, and the release in Warzone 2 is very likely.
