The 22-year-old is suspected of murder in Jordbro – was previously active in NMR

On the night of Thursday, a man was shot dead in Jordbro south of Stockholm, another man was injured.

This weekend, a 22-year-old man was arrested on probable cause on suspicion of the murder. A 21-year-old woman and an 18-year-old man were also detained on suspicion of aiding and abetting.

The 22-year-old man and woman are listed at an address in Hässelby where an explosion occurred on Monday morning, the home was completely destroyed.

According to TV4 News the police had surveillance at the address in question during the night, but when the detonation occurred they had left the scene.

Wore Nazi symbols

The 22-year-old has previously been convicted of a series of crimes. Including for incitement against a group of people in 2019 because he wore Nazi symbols during a demonstration arranged by the Nazi organization Nordic Resistance Movement, NMR.

– He was a member of the Nordic Resistance Movement. He was visible in their demonstrations, handed out leaflets and actively tried to recruit new members, says My Vingren, researcher at the Expo foundation.

But according to Expo, he left the far-right environment in the fall of 2020.

– It is clear that he then chose another, more gang-criminal environment. He has always romanticized violence, but the targets changed to above all police officers and criminals, says My Vingren.

Photographed police

The 22-year-old has also been convicted of crimes such as threatening an official, breaking the Knife Act and several drug crimes.

On one occasion, he sat in a car outside a police residence and took pictures of the policeman which he later published on social media along with full name and address details.

The latest sentence against the 22-year-old came the day after the shooting death in Jordbro, when he was sentenced to one month in prison for possession of cocaine and tramadol.

After Monday’s explosion in Hässelby, the police have started a preliminary investigation into public destruction.
