The Swedish Formula 1 talent Dino Beganovic may be present in a historical moment in a couple of weeks.
Ferrari’s 21-year-old takes a seat next to Lewis Hamilton in the first free training at Bahrain’s GP on April 11, his team announces in a press release.
“Driving for Ferrari in the first free training in Bahrain will be a completely unreal moment for me. Formula 1 is my big dream and now I will be part of a real race weekend for the first time, along with the most legendary team in the history of the sport,” says the talent Dino Beganovic From Linköping.
During the hour -long workout on Friday in two weeks he will take over the star Charles Leclercs Ferraris. The other run by the seven -time world champion Lewis Hamilton.

“Words are not enough to describe what I feel right now. There will be a lot to take in, but my goal is to make the absolute best of this opportunity and help the team in work for the rest of the race weekend,” he says.
Swedish in Formula 1
Participation is made possible by the regulations of the International Car Sports Association (FIA), which determines that each ordinary F1 driver must leave room for a young junior in at least two training sessions during the season.
Beganovic becomes the other Swede ever run for Ferrari in Formula 1, after Stefan Johansson which competed for the Italian stable for two seasons, 1985-1986, with six pallet seats on 31 starts.

The 21-year-old also becomes the first Swede to run during a competition weekend in Formula 1 ago Marcus Ericsson left the championship after the 2018 season.
