What does the stat “Pace” mean in EA FC? In EA FC, a player’s pace is basically made up of two values:

  • Start
  • Sprint speed

    • Since their introduction in FIFA 23, acceleration types have also played an important role:

  • explosive: fast in the first few meters, slightly slower in the final speed
  • controlled: mostly constant pace
  • sustained: slow start, high top speed

    • What else is important for the pace? Equally important are two playstyles that can give your player’s speed a decent boost. The two playstyles that additionally influence a player’s speed are:

  • Quick Step: gives your start with and without the ball a speed boost
  • Frenzy: when dribbling with the ball at full sprint you don’t lose any speed

    Since in EA FC it is not just the pure pace stat that determines speed, we also took into account the two relevant playstyles for pace in FC 25. This results in our list of the 10 fastest players.

    In the list you first see the players with their rating. This is followed by the speed stat. The players are sorted in descending order according to their speed.

    The table also shows you which playstyle (frenzy and/or quick step) the card has for an additional speed boost. Silver means normal playstyle (normal effect), gold means playstyle+ (strong effect).

    Important: The players in the list are those whose ratings have been officially confirmed by EA. We regularly update the list with the fastest players.
