One of the biggest action stars of our time is black and white and goes by the name Po. The hero of the Kung Fu Panda series has had fans waiting for his return to the cinema for seven years. But now the first trailer for Kung Fu Panda 4 shows, that the martial arts bear has lost none of his punching power. After all, he has to compete against The Hunger Games – The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes antagonist Viola Davis.

Hunger Games star destroys Po’s well-deserved retirement in Kung Fu Panda 4

Po (voice in the original: Jack Black) is supposed to retire in Kung Fu Panda 4, protect the Valley of Peace and look for a successor to the title of Dragon Warrior. Po himself doesn’t want to do that, but the shapeshifter does Chameleon (Davis) destroys any hope of a hero’s pension anyway: She wants to use the power of Po’s old enemies to turn the Valley of Peace into a theater of war.

In the US original of Kung Fu Panda 4 lots of stars will be heard. In addition to Black and Davis, the dubbing cast includes Awkwafina (Shang-Chi) and Ke Huy Quan (Everything Everywhere All at Once).

When is Kung Fu Panda 4 coming to the cinema?
