Navy CIS season 20 on TV: That’s why episode 21 comes later
Sat.1 is broadcasting the episodes of the 20th season every Tuesday evening from 8:15 p.m. as a free TV premiere. After the TV broadcast of the 20th episode on November 14th, NCIS will be broadcast a short break of two weeks until it continues.
Instead of fresh NCIS content, Sat.1 is showing the new season of the reality show Promi Big Brother at prime time, the 15 episodes of which will be broadcast daily until December 4th. From December 5th, things will continue as usual with Navy CIS on Tuesday.

The season 20 finale brings with it a sad farewell for NCIS fans. These are the last two episodes in which the actor David McCallum, who died in September, can be seen as coroner Ducky. He played the role in over 450 episodes.
When is NCIS season 21 coming?
The good news: The US broadcaster CBS has already ordered the 21st season of NCIS. However, this time fans will have to wait longer for fresh episodes than expected. Due to the double strike in Hollywood, which has now ended, no series and films could be filmed for several months this year.
Instead of the usual September, the new season of NCIS in the USA will now only begin on February 12, 2024. Due to the heavily delayed start, season 21 will also contain significantly fewer episodes.
There are usually three to four months between the US premiere and German broadcast. The new episodes will probably not be shown on Sat.1 until summer 2024.
