Thats why the cast around Diana Amft looks so familiar

The new event series Days That Didn’t Exist celebrates on February 14 in the first Premiere. The more episodes of the crime thriller you watch, the more familiar faces appear in the story about a possible murder in a wealthy Austrian community.

Because the big ensemble is stuck full of relevant character actors and stars. The American series success Big Little Lies served as a model (stream at WOW*), in which a group of women are also confronted with a crime in their elite community. Back then, Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon played the lead roles. But who is her counterpart in the German-Austrian co-production? We present you the cast of days that didn’t exist before.

days that didn’t exist

Days That Were Not is about four girlfriends, dark secrets and an elite boarding school with dirt on it. The four women at the center of the story are played by (pictured left to right):

  • Jasmin Gerat as Inès Lemarchal, who has returned from France after a long time. Gerat hosted Bravo TV in the 1990s and has since built an acting career. Alongside Til Schweiger, she played the main role in Kokowääh 1 and 2.
  • Franziska Weisz plays prosecutor Miriam Hintz. The Austrian has been investigating as Julia Grosz since 2016 at the North German crime scene in the series by Wotan Wilke Möhring’s Thorsten Falke.
  • Diana Amft plays forwarding manager Doris Hauke. For years, Amft has starred in the hit comedy series Doctor’s Diary, appeared in Girls, Girls and starred in eight parts of the ARD series My Mother….
  • Franziska Hackl as writer Christiane Boj. Hackl has so far been particularly successful in the theater, but has also appeared in Tatort and Um Himmels Willen. Days That Were Not is her biggest television role to date.
  • Other stars in the cast of days that did not exist: scene stealer Sissy Höfferer, Jutta Speidel and even Rick Kavanian

    ARD

    Sissy Höfferer at the wheel

One of the most entertaining characters in the ARD series plays no doubt Sissy Hoefferer. As Commissioner Elfriede Grünberger, she investigates the elite school Sophianum with extremely dry humor.

The Austrian actress Sissy Höfferer might have crossed your path in SOKO Cologne or the movie Napola – Elite für den Führer.

Jutta Speidel in Days That Didn’t Exist

On the other hand, Berta Hauke, the controlling mother of Diana Amfts Doris, causes stress. Her Actress is Jutta Speidel.

She starred as the walrus in The Masked Singer last year and has also been part of the cast of Um Himmels Willen, Forsthaus Falkenau and many more.

    Diana Amft and Rick Kavanian

Also part of Doris’ family is her husband Sebastian. Bully parade jack of all trades Rick Kavanian plays the character, but without a colorful costume and a strongly disguised voice.

The most unlikable character in Days That Didn’t Exist is played by a crime scene inspector

    Harald Krassnitzer

One of the least likeable characters of the entire series year plays Harald Krassnitzer. In an early episode, we have to watch as the director of the elite school Sophianum bullies a student until he can’t take it anymore. The actor of the imperious Paul Paulitz, on the other hand, has grown dear to many ARD viewers with his gruff crime scene inspector Moritz Eisner, whom he has embodied since 1999.

Other well-known actors in the cast include Andreas Lust (The Secret of the Dead Forest) as Miriam’s (ex-)husband Joachim and Tobias Samuel Resch (Breaking the Ice), who plays the investigator Leodolter.
