Married at First Sight has become a huge success, and the SVT program is now in its tenth season. In the Swedish love reality, strangers are paired with each other – and weddings are arranged before they have even met.
After the wedding, they will live together for four weeks, and during the course of the experiment they will simply decide whether they want to stay married or divorce.
What happened between Linnea Alsberg and Jimmi Nordqvist?
For their help, the couples have, among other things, the sexologist Kalle Norwald which helps couples with problems that may arise in the relationship.
In this year’s season, viewers got to know the couple Linnea Alsberg and Jimmy Nordqvist.
Norwald has sensed that something is not quite right between the pair. The viewers have noticed how Linnea has withdrawn more and more.
– It has become obvious that something has happened in terms of trust when it comes to closeness between them. I think Linnea has reached some kind of limit when it comes to intimacy, verbal space and the like, which Jimmie doesn’t really understand, says Kalle Norwald.

During a conversation with Jimmi and Kalle Norwald, Linnea told more about the real reason why she doesn’t want to stay in Married at First Sight.
– The trust is not there and that’s why I choose to end, Linnea explains in the program.

During the conversation, Linnea tells that, among other things, Jimmi allegedly touched her even though she didn’t want to.
– I don’t know how to explain it. But I have felt crowded. I feel disappointed. I don’t want to feel crowded and trapped. I don’t want someone to touch me when I don’t want to. I also want you to understand what I mean when I say that you shouldn’t touch me when I don’t want to. And don’t feel sorry for yourself, answers Linnea.
Jimmi says he takes responsibility for the situation, and he is deeply remorseful.
– The feeling of unease Linnea feels, I have created it. The narrowness she feels is something that comes into contact with me. I’ve never had any intention of taking liberties I don’t have. I never had any intention of hurting Linnea. I really only had the intention of wanting her well. With misplaced actions that have cost an incredible amount, says Jimmi.

Norwald asks if it’s about his lack of sensitivity towards Linnea.
– Absolutely. And a lack of understanding from the start. I can only apologize for that. I really do. I am terribly sorry that I have hurt you Linnea. Genuinely, says Jimmi.
These events have caused Linnea to divorce Jimmi and drop out of the program. Even though the marriage with Jimmi fell apart, Linnea liked being married, and that is something she would like to be again.
Linnea sees the future brightly and also hopes for many children, she says in the program.
