It was on April 8 that the tenth edition of “Married at First Sight” premiered on SVT.
The setup in the anniversary season is the same as in previous years: eight singles looking for love are matched by the program’s experts – Kalle Norwald, Maria Farm, Hana Jamali and Frederick Bohm – and get married at the same moment they see each other for the first time.

In the first two episodes of “Married at First Sight”, it is clear which participants have been matched by the experts. During the season, we will follow these four couples:

In the past episodes, the viewers have also gotten to know the participants, including 28-year-old Linnea Alsberg who, for example, says that she lacks a partner to “give everything” to.
What Linnea did not talk about in the program, however, is the background to the scar she has on her chest. However, she has shared that on Instagram. At the beginning of 2022, Linnea suffered a cardiac arrest.
“Last week my heart took a trip to heaven and back but only for 45 seconds and it was good, I have a pacemaker?????????!!??????? Huh?”, she wrote in a post then.

Linnea Alsberg: “I am so grateful”
On the anniversary, in March 2023, the 28-year-old highlighted the incident in another post.
“1 YEAR (!!!) since I took a quick visit to heaven! How sick is that,” she wrote at the time.
In March of this year, just a little over a month before “Married at First Sight” started, she again published a post about the whole thing. Then she wrote like this:
“I’m like a year old today? 2 YEARS! Two years with a pacemaker. Two years as a heart patient?? The heart that two years ago today chose to stop pumping, is alive, and I’m so grateful for that. Grateful for my little metal heart!”
Whether – and if so when – Linnea will tell about what happened in the program remains to be seen.
