The British singer has been open about her father’s alcoholism being one of the reasons she lost contact with him. The father died two years ago.
— I have always been fascinated by alcohol. It came between my dad and me, so I wanted to find out what was so good about it, Adele said in an interview with Vogue magazine last year.
Adele has also shared that her drinking got out of hand during the corona pandemic when society was on lockdown and she was forced to spend so much time at home.
“My drinking started earlier and earlier every day,” she said in the interview.
