Swedish ski star Frida Karlsson will not join the national team’s camp in Trondheim, Norway.
Frida Karlsson will also not be competing during Toppidrettsveka. The reason is an overload in one foot.
This is announced by the Swedish Skiing Association. The national team coach Stefan Thomson comments:
“It’s about an overload on soft parts that need some relief. As we are in an important training period and have an altitude camp in Lavazè which is three weeks away, we see no disadvantage in being extra careful in this situation – even if it would be possible to compete.”

Karlsson will instead continue with alternative training at home, as a recharge before the high-altitude camp.
