Chrippa explains why he did not appear in court
During Friday, Chrippa published a YouTube video in which he explains why he did not appear in court on Thursday.
– I was bitten by a small copper snake at home in Sweden, when I was out walking in Malmö. It was absolutely insane. He appeared out of nowhere, attacked my left leg, bit and I got some freaking super-micro-super-plasma. So I have a bit of a cold, he says the clip.
He goes on to explain why the bite stopped him from attending the detention hearing.
– Now I’ve been arrested in my absence, absenteeism… I’m not that big of a deal about that. It’s just that, as I said, I was bitten by a small copper snake then, so I couldn’t appear in the district court. Right now I’m in rehab for a bit and hope to show up for the next trial, he says.
But Expressen has been in contact with Jonas “Skansen-Jonas” Wahlström” who believes that Chrippa’s argument does not hold because there is no such thing as a “copper snake” in Sweden. He points out, however, that there is a lizard that is popularly called a copper snake because it lacks legs.
– It has a tiny mouth with tiny teeth that cannot cause any harm whatsoever to a human being and is definitely harmless, says Skansen-Jonas and continues:
– You won’t even get a cold if you were bitten by a green mamba.
The district court has moved the detention hearing to December 27.
