When “Trädgårdstider” premiered on SVT in 2009, it was at the home of Gustav Mandelmann and Marie Mandelmann at Österlen where the program was recorded. The pair were then part of the host quartet, which in addition to them consisted of Pernilla Månsson Colt and Tareq Taylor.
After just one season, the Mandelmanns left the program and John Taylor stepped into their place. Five years later did Malin Persson entry into the program.

Tareq Taylor left “Garden Times”
At the end of 2023, it was clear that Tareq Taylor, after a full 15 years in the program, would say goodbye.
– We will miss him very much but have full understanding and respect for his decision, said the program’s project manager Jonas Gunnarsson in a press release at the time.
Taylor himself said that “Trädgårdtider” was one of the funnest things he had to do.
– It is a special program and a special group that I will really miss, said the TV chef in the same press release.

In the spring season of “Trädgårdstider” they therefore thanked Tareq Taylor – who was replaced by the Danish chef Adam Aamann – in the premiere episode.
