The host Mauri Hermundsson, 28, broke through with his YouTube channel Uppdrag: Mat which became a huge success. Since then, the successes have followed each other.
After being the presenter for Lego Masters Sweden, Mauri also made the program Mauri – What happened then? where he interviewed famous people who had disappeared from the limelight.

It was also in the second season of Mauri – What happened then? as Mauri went to Los Angeles to get to know the Swedish Hollywood wife Gunilla Persson. Mauri’s interview with Gunilla received enormous attention – this after Gunilla openly talked about her dissatisfaction with how she was portrayed in the program.
She called Mauri a “scumbag” and also wanted to report him to the police for assault. This when Gunilla had food poisoning at a restaurant that she and Mauri visited.
– A lot of what she writes should probably be taken with a pinch of salt, but the fact that she calls me a bitch I think is refreshing and apt, Mauri said to News24 then.

In the spring of 2024, we will see Mauri Hermundsson in Best in test on TV4, and recently Mauri Hermundsson also guested Jenny Stromstedt in News morning.
Mauri Hermundsson has just started his own production company, and Jenny Strömstedt wonders if he has had a program idea that he has not been able to carry out because it was simply too crazy.
– There are many there, and some that have been stopped because people say “Mauri, that is downright distasteful”, explains Mauri.

Jenny wonders if Mauri can’t tell more.
– Should I just cancel myself from all publicity here on Nyhetsmorgon? Some of them I can’t even draw because they were just bad ideas. But I had an idea that I really wanted to do, but which was perhaps not so problematic, says Mauri Hermundsson.
Mauri Hermundsson about the call to Bianca Ingrosso
The influencer and the entrepreneur Bianca Ingrosso has previously guested on an episode of Uppdrag: Mat. Then she was assigned to eat like Mauri, while Mauri in turn ate like Bianca Ingrosso for a day.
The episode with Bianca became something of a modern classic, and today has over four million views on Youtube.

So Mauri coming up with an idea involving Bianca Ingrosso is perhaps simply not that strange…
– I called Bianca Ingrosso and asked “can’t we test and see how long you survive on a Finnish ferry. It feels like an environment that she wouldn’t have fit in. So I had an image of her halfway to Turku just interrupting everything, and a helicopter comes and picks her up. It would have been a cool idea, Mauri Hermundsson reveals in News morning.

– She wasn’t like that… She has too much. She probably has better things to do. “Maybe later this spring”, says Mauri Hermundsson.
