Amazon’s bloody superhero satire The Boys recently ended its fourth season with a massive finale. Now fans are eagerly awaiting the upcoming series finale, which will not only conclude Homelander’s story but will also overcome the previous allergy to death.
No character is safe anymore and actress Erin Moriarty already has a preferred candidate for her superhero Annie January aka Starlight to kill in season 5.

“There’s no guarantee who’s going to survive because we don’t have to keep them for another season, so really shocking, big things can happen all the time.“, promised series creator Eric Kripke in a recent interview with Total Film . Now not only the fans, but also the stars of the Amazon series are allowed to voice their death theories for season 5. Erin Moriarty revealed in an interview with Comicbook , which sacrifice Starlight must absolutely demand:

She must at least get The Deep, at least let me kill the fish guythat is the least we can do.
Let’s remember: In the very first episode of The Boys, Starlight, the newest member of the Seven, is raped by The Deep (Chace Crawford). A personal act of revenge in season 5 would therefore represent a fitting circular conclusion for the characters. But we shouldn’t assume that Starlight will now attack her enemies bloodthirsty:
It must be attacked and it must be self-defensebecause she is Annie. But she has to catch someone […] This concept of cathartic karma. I think we really need it.
Will Starlight drown her tormentor, as The Deep actor himself wishes? Erin Moriarty also has another wish as to which character her superheroine should kill in season 5. However, she thinks the chances of this happening are slim:
I think, she should kill Homelander. I don’t believe that this wish or desire will or can be fulfilled. But who knows?
Because The Boys places a lot of emphasis on character development and relationships, it’s unlikely that Starlight will kill her former Seven leader Homelander. That honor should go to either his declared arch-enemy Billy Butcher or his son Ryan.
