Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s income details have been published on the president’s official website in line with his ambition to increase transparency around his government.
In 2021, the year before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Zelenskyj and his family declared an income equivalent to just under three million kroner. Most of the income was salary, bank interest and income from letting properties.
During the first year of the war, 2022, the president and his family declared income equivalent to just over one million kroner.
The presidential family’s assets at the end of 2022 were almost the equivalent of half a million kroner lower than at the same time the year before.
