Paradise Hotel is FINALLY back – and this time it’s been promised by production that “the old Paradise Hotel is back”.
What then is meant by the old?
Well, it is the case that the last two seasons called “Paradise” did not have the same layout as regular Paradise Hotel. The participants were allowed to drink very sparingly, were allowed to form couples with someone of the same sex and had very strict rules regarding having sexual intercourse.

But now you can say that some “gristier entertainment” will be offered, but under controlled forms. The participants can drink more, party harder and that the couples to be chosen must consist of “guy and girl”.
During the Paradise Hotel press conference, the first three episodes were shown which would prove to be very dramatic. But apparently that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Rebecca has previously hosted Paradise Hotel but in recent seasons she has been replaced by Tone Sekelius and Nicole Falciani.
It was therefore to the delight of many that Viaplay was able to confirm this year that she is back.

What did you think when they called and asked if you were ready for another season?
– They asked if I was interested, so I answered yes because I was interested. Then there was some negotiation and when I finally got what I wanted, the answer was yes.

How long are you there recording?
– For a season, it is one month. But if you record two seasons in a row, then it’s two to three months.
Are you living well?
– I live incredibly haha!
But ok. Mention your price. What would it take for you to stand up…. but as a participant?
– Oh… you mean a sum? Hmm…. that would be money that would make an extremely big difference in my life. So an extremely big difference….. I become… yes, but you can say that the money makes me set for life – sure I do haha, concludes Rebecca.
Paradise Hotel premieres on September 9 on Viaplay, TV3 and Pluto TV and is broadcast in 36 episodes.
