It has been just over a year since the participants in “Married at First Sight” met for the first time at the altar. After the five weeks they spent together, there were two couples who chose to stay married – and two couples who broke up even before during the course of the season.
In a final episode, we now learn what has happened since then. How did it go when the cameras went off?
Continued as married – that’s how it went
Rosanna Segerstedt and Christoffer Sundén were one of the couples who agreed to continue as a married couple and now we learn that they are still together today. Christoffer has moved down to Rosanna in Malmö where they are building a common life together.
– I almost fall in love with Rosanna every day, all over again, says Christoffer in the program.
– I am touched by thinking about us and Christoffer, because he feels a bit like a gift from above, says Rosanna.
However, the other couple who continued as married are no longer together. After ten months together, Mattias Cedergren felt that his feelings for Emmy Johansson had cooled. That after their daily schedules didn’t quite match up and he had to work on himself.

Mattias describes ending the relationship as the most difficult decision he has made.
– For a long time I have felt that it just doesn’t work, I can’t answer it more than that. She is incredible in every way and I want to be her best friend. But I don’t feel that we can be a couple, says Mattias.
But Mattias ending the relationship came as a shock to her, and it’s a sad Emmy that we get to see in the reunion.
– I just thought we should talk about the relationship when we started talking about it. Then out of nowhere, his look and the whole feeling in the room changed, and I just felt ‘God, is he going to dump me now?’, says Emmy.
– It is so hard to be in love with someone who is not in love with you back, she continues.
Canceled mid-season – found love
Anastasia Exner and Torsten Malmgård chose to end their relationship in the middle of the season. Today, they have both found love again.
– It’s so nice that we’ve met each other, it would have been very difficult if one was single to come back here – I would have thought it was difficult if I had been single and you had met someone, says Torsten.
Even Linnea Alsberg has found love.
– I’ve changed jobs, moved, got a haircut, got glasses and met a guy. But he is very anonymous, says Linnea.
But Jimmi Nordqvist – who is also present during the reunion after a discussion with the production – is still single.
– I’m still looking for the person to fall in love with for the last time, says Jimmi.
