Yesterday we got to see the current presenter Carina Bergfeldt, 42, a sunny day on Renée’s jetty. The journalist and author has since 2021 led the talk show Carina Bergfeldt, where she gathers guests with exciting and interesting stories. But during yesterday’s episode, Carina got to be a guest and offer stories.
During the program we also get to meet the skier Charlotte Kalla35, and the sports journalist Patrick Ekwall, 57, on Renée’s dock. We get to take part in cooking, triathlons and interesting conversations.
Carina Bergfeldt’s path to love
When Renee Nyberg56, ends up alone with Carina and Carina begins to tell about how she met her husband in Washington in 2017. The Danish journalist Jesper Zolck44, she met one day in a restaurant while she was working as a foreign correspondent in Washington and as soon as the couple said hello to each other, it was love at first sight.
But the road there has not been easy for Carina. Her relationship with her father has made love difficult and the journalist has often been drawn to destructive relationships.
– You get the kind of love you think you deserve and for quite a while I thought I didn’t deserve very good relationships. She says in the episode.
After the meeting at the restaurant, she received a text message from Jesper asking if she wanted to have a drink, but Carina had a boyfriend and said no. The second after the text message was sent, she says she started throwing up and went straight home and told everything to her then-boyfriend. The relationship ended and eight months later she plucked up the courage to write if he wanted to have a drink and he said yes.
– I flew over to Denmark, with both profit and loss and he was waiting for me at the airport. Since then it has been us.
Today, the couple is happily married since 2019 and has a little son together named Hamiltonwho turns three on Valentine’s Day.
