After months of rumor mill bubbling, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew has now officially joined. And has been able to sign a mega star for himself. Jude Law (Fantastic Beasts: Secrets of Dumbledore) is in the cast (via Deadline). We have all the information so far.
Star Wars: Skeleton Crew with Jude Law will be a great children’s adventure
The series is intended to be dedicated to a group of children traveling alone in the galaxy far, far away. What sounds terrifying is said to be more along the lines of Amblin Entertainment’s (ET, Back to the Future) famous teenage adventures. Details about the plot or the role of Law are not yet known. The story is set to take place after Return of the Jedi.
Should be behind the camera two absolute experts responsible for the Disney+ series be. Jon Watts (director of the recent Spider-Man trilogy) and Christopher Ford (writer of Spider-Man: Homecoming) will develop the space jaunt.
When is Star Wars: Skelton Crew coming to Disney+?
The series is slated to come to Disney+ sometime in 2023. It is produced by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, who are also responsible for The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.
