JO Waldner has always been one of Sweden’s greatest ball conjurers.

JO Waldner will forever have a given place in Swedish sports history, and will be known as Sweden’s greatest ball conjurer ever. Waldner was a super talent as a teenager, and already at the age of 16 the big breakthrough came.
Incredible career
It would only be the beginning for one of Sweden’s greatest athletes of all time, known as the one who broke the Chinese super-dominance in table tennis. Waldner managed to win most things that can be won in table tennis, and it is not only in Sweden that he is a legend.
Thanks to the success in what is the Chinese national sport, he has a super profile in China, where he has even received the nickname “The Evergreen Tree”. Thanks to his success in table tennis, Waldner quickly became one of Sweden’s most popular and popular athletes, and it is easy to understand.
The playhouse with the mini racket
Not only did he win matches and tournaments, he was a true wizard who could do anything with a racket and a ball, and thanks to his creativity, he was almost impossible to study and then defeat. It is not infrequent that Waldner has been on various different Swedish television programs to shine with his ball genius, and he had, among other things, an unforgettable moment against Lasse Kronér.
During a live broadcast of the long-running Bingolotto in the early 2000s, Waldner was invited to face Kronér in a match, and to even the odds a bit, Waldner was forced to play with a miniature racket, while Kronér used a regular one.
The presenter did get a few points, but once Waldner just made up his mind, he won the match – among other things through a couple of near misses on impossible screws that Kronér had no chance to answer. In the end, only Kronér could shout out his frustration, and it’s easy to understand. It really can’t be easy to meet an artist like JO Waldner!
