Most people know Zach Braff as JD from the sitcom Scrubs. There he plays a somewhat awkward but friendly young doctor. However, the actor once saw red when a boy smeared paint on his new Porsche – when in reality it was just a hidden camera prank
Punk’d is an American show created by Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg in which pranks are played on famous people in front of a hidden camera.
One day, Scrubs actor Donald Faison (Turk) organized for his colleague Zach Braff to be the next victim of a prank. However, the situation escalated and the angry actor even became violent.
The brand new Porsche was the target of the prank
What did the prank look like? The actor owned a brand new $100,000 car at the time, a Porsche, and parked it in front of a liquor store.
Along with Faison, the actor was asked by a group of children if the two could buy them alcohol. Braff said no and entered the liquor store with his co-star.

But when he left the shop, he saw his new car covered in graffiti paint, while the children were still in the act.
The prank was originally intended so that the actor would not be able to catch the perpetrators, i.e. the young actors.
In the episode you can see Braff chasing after one of the children. The next moment the boy is intercepted by the fake security guard.
But as the actor told The Graham Norton Show, he still caught the culprit and punched him in the stomach several times.
You don’t see this in the episode that aired, but you can still see how angry Braff was at that moment. He yelled at the 12-year-old and insulted him several times, which was censored on the show. He repeatedly asked the boy whether he seriously believed he could avoid prison. Because that’s definitely waiting for him now.

According to his own statement on the show with Graham Norton, Braff only realized afterwards that he had a child in front of him:
“And I couldn’t see it from my perspective because my adrenaline was so high that then he looked up and he was a little boy and I stopped because I didn’t realize he was so young.”
He also added that the scene in which the actor attacked the boy was cut from the final episode of Punk’d. After all, you don’t want to show how a child was beaten in front of the camera.
