In a shopping center in Lynnwood, Washington, USA, thieves pierced the wall of the toilet in the coffee shop adjacent to the Apple store. Lynnwood police said the incident took place between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time and $500,000 worth of goods were stolen, including approximately 436 iPhones and an unspecified amount of other Apple electronics.
AN ENTIRE WALL OF IPHONES IS GONE
Apple store employees said they noticed the incident when they arrived at work the next morning and found that an entire wall of iPhones was gone.
Mike Atkinson, CEO of the Seattle-based coffee-focused company, said the thieves broke into the retailer’s Alderwood Mall location and drilled a hole in the wall of the toilet to access the Apple store.
