That doesnt make any sense at all
Wednesday became a huge hit on Netflix. And star Jenna Ortega had to walk the gauntlet to get there, if her statements are to be believed. In an interview, she revealed that she was with the original version of her character couldn’t do anything at all. Jenna Ortega personally rewrote Wednesday’s script

In the podcast Armchair Expert, she explained:

Everything I had to play didn’t make any sense to her character. A love triangle? Makes no sense. There were times on the set where I became almost unprofessional just because I could read lines of text [im Drehbuch] changed. I developed a protective instinct [für die Figur]. But you can’t play a leading role without emotional developments.

Her criticism is apparently directed at both scenes that made it into the series and old versions of the script. She is not alone in her feelings. The Wednesday love story was also inappropriate for many fans.

When is Wednesday season 2 coming to Netflix?

There is no official date for season 2 of the Netflix hit, but it has already been confirmed. At the current state of production, we calculate 2024 at the earliest with new episodes.
