Thai Masser Napada in Luleå: “It’s unfair”

The review Shows that several Thai mass salons that are linked to sex trafficking are linked to Epassi, which is used by at least 100 municipalities to handle employees’ health care allowance.

Several regions are also linked to Epassi, such as Region Norrbotten.

“We’re serious”

Napada Polyiem has been running a Thai mass salon in Luleå for two years. To support herself, she works as a janitor during the day and masseur in the evening. The decision from Epassi is a tough blow.

“It’s unfair to us who are serious about Thai massage,” says Napada Polyiem.

In the review, it is exclusively about salons in southern Sweden, which is linked to sex trafficking.

“A necessary action”

About 19,000 wellness suppliers are linked to Epassi.

– We understand that temporary inactivation of Thai massage salons can feel unfair and that it will have negative consequences for the suppliers that are actually serious, but we see the action as necessary – our goal is for the health care allowance to favor health and well -being and nothing else, says Åsa Severgårdh, CEO of Epassi in a press release.
