A 29-year-old man was taken into custody Monday after Chatham-Kent responded to a complaint about several emails and texts allegedly being sent to a woman.
Police said the accused had entered into a probation order on June 9 with conditions including he not communicating with a specific woman.
Police said the email and text messages allegedly sent to the woman were a breach of the man’s probation order.
He was located and arrested for failing to comply with probation order and held in custody pending a bail hearing, police said.
Passenger arrested after vehicle pulled over
A 34-year-old man was arrested after Chatham-Kent police conducted a traffic stop on Albert Street in Wallaceburg just before midnight Monday.
Police said a passenger in the vehicle, who was known to police, was wanted on two outstanding warrants.
The accused was arrested on the warrants and released with a court date.

Chatham-Kent police said citizens who left vehicles abandoned on roads within the Municipality of Chatham-Kent during the storm should contact Chatham Towing at 519-436-1000, Dave Cragg Towing at 519-351-1157 or Wrights Towing at 519-678- 3327 to determine the location of their towed vehicles.
