Teuvo Teräväinen scored four points as the Carolina Hurricanes defeated Mikko Rantanen’s Colorado. Florida’s Sam Reinhart joined Olli Jokinen.
Carolina Hurricanes’ Finnish forward Teuvo Teräväinen was in top form in the hockey league NHL. Teräväinen scored a total of four goals when Carolina beat the Colorado Avalanche 5–2.
Teräväinen scored four points in one game for the first time in his career. After 50 games, the Finn has 16 goals and 18 assists.
Finnish goalkeeper Antti Raanta skated between the posts for the second period when in the opening set by Samuel Girard released from the field in favor of a shot Pyotr Kochetkov made room for the Finn.
Raanta made nine saves in the second period. For example, he robbed Colorado’s superstar by Nathan MacKinnon from a great position from the corner of the goal.

Having a great season Sam Reinhart scored his 38th goal of the season. With his number of goals, he rose in the single-season statistics of Florida’s club history Olli Jokinen alongside. Jokinen also scored 38 goals for Florida in the 2005–2006 season. The duo is tied for seventh place.
