The electric car manufacturer Tesla is recalling nearly 700,000 vehicles. The cause is a problem with the warning light in the system that monitors the tire pressure.
The recall applies to certain vehicles of Cybertruck model year 2024, Model 3 model year 2017–2025 and Model Y model year 2020–2025.
The problem with the monitoring system is that the warning light may not stay on and then not alert the driver that the tire pressure is low.

The US House of Representatives has agreed on a temporary budget settlement, and the risk of a shutdown of the state apparatus this Christmas thus appears to have been removed.
