The four men who are charged with terrorist offenses after the security police’s notable strikes in Tyresö last spring remain in custody when the trial ends.
It announced Nacka District Court when the main hearing ended on Friday.
Three of the four defendants – two of whom are brothers – are suspected of preparation for terrorist offenses. They were arrested in connection with a strike on March 7, 2024, when the Security Police struck in several places in Tyresö, including otherwise against a room that has been described as a mosque.
According to the indictment, the three men have “held” a gun for the purpose of killing or harming other persons in the terrorist group IS’s name. They are also charged with serious weapons crime, due to the alleged weapons possession. However, no gun has been found.
All four are suspected of participating in the terrorist organization for “acting on behalf of IS in Somalia”. They have done this, according to the prosecution, by keeping in touch with IS members in Somalia and receiving instructions from them about terrorist acts to be implemented.
The judgment in the case will be announced on February 17. Everyone denies crime.
