After SÄPO raised its assessment of the terrorist threat level in Sweden, the Swedish Football Association has decided to postpone the celebration of the women’s national team in the event of a possible World Cup bronze.
“Looking in MSB’s folder”
In Västerås, the idea is to broadcast the match on Saturday on a big screen. But the terrorist threat level in Sweden can now have effects on this arrangement as well.
– We look in the MSB’s folder where there are written measures for terror. We will also have a dialogue with the police if we need to take any measures. But at the moment we are carrying out the arrangement, says Alf Westerdahl, event manager at Visit Västerås, Västerås city.
