Many complaints came from the Pijlsweerd, Ondiep, Oog in Al and Vleuten De Meern districts. Reports also came in that young people deliberately threw fireworks at animals and at people who confronted them. In addition, some Utrecht residents indicated that fireworks are set off in their neighborhood almost all year round.
