It was reported that more than 100 people lost their lives in armed attacks on villages in Nigeria’s Plateau state.
MANY PEOPLE WERE KIDNAPPED
Bokkos Regional President Monday Kasa stated in his statement that armed people carried out attacks on villages in the Bokkos and Barkin-Ladi regions of Plateau province. Noting that more than 100 people lost their lives and dozens were injured in the attacks, Kasa shared the information that many people were kidnapped.

Kasa said that security forces were sent to the region to find those kidnapped in the attacks. Stating that many houses were set on fire during the attacks, Kasa explained that the armed people also took the food products they seized in the village with them.
Kasa stated that the teams continue to collect the bodies and the number may increase.
On the other hand, Plateau Governor Caleb Mutfwang condemned the attacks and instructed security units to immediately catch those responsible. Nigeria’s Plateau state has recently been the scene of attacks by gunmen.
