Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif stated that the attacks were organized by those who were against Pakistan’s democratic system and said, “As can be understood from the attacks on political parties, the enemy is against the democratic system in Pakistan. Those responsible will be identified and punished. The Pakistani nation, law enforcement and our protectors will never allow such cowardly tactics of the enemy to succeed. The whole nation, including me, shares the pain of the families of those who were martyred in the incident,” he said.
“WE MUST REDEFINE PRIORITIES”
Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, pointing out that the terrorist incidents in Pakistan have increased in a post on his social media account, said, “The bomb attacks that took place in Bajaur, which caused the death of 40 valuable people and the injury of 150 people, caused deep sadness. My prayers are with the families affected by the explosion. The increase in terrorist incidents across the country, especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, requires a redefinition of our priorities. Those in power must turn their backs on political engineering and make the fight against terrorism the focus of state resources and efforts. “Pakistan cannot handle a new wave of terrorism,” he said.
