A terrible toxic gas leak has occurred in Jordan. A tank filled with poisonous gas fell and exploded during transportation at the port in the city of Aqaba. 10 people died and more than 250 people were injured due to the poisonous gas emitted into the air. It was reported that expert teams were directed to the area where the gas leak occurred.
GAS DISPENSED IN YELLOW TONES
In the footage recorded by the security camera in the port, it was seen that the tank full of poison gas was loaded onto the ship for transportation with the help of a crane, while it fell to the ground by getting rid of the crane, and a gas in yellow tones was spread into the air with the effect of the explosion.
Jordanian General Directorate of Security Spokesperson Amir es-Sertavi, in his written statement, stated that a tanker loaded with poisonous gas overturned in Aqaba Port and 10 people were killed and 251 people were injured due to the leak resulting from the explosion. He noted that dangerous goods specialists made the necessary investigations at the scene.
