The lifeless body of a 19-year-old 8-month pregnant woman who disappeared after getting into a taxi called with her mobile phone application on 26 November in Escobedo city of Nuevo Leon state of Mexico was found days later. In a statement made by the Nuevo Leon State Attorney General’s Office, it was reported that the body of a young woman named Martha, who was 8 months pregnant, was found in a warehouse with the body of another woman who was killed.

Announcing that Martha’s baby was stolen and she was drowned, the Attorney General’s Office stated that the other woman who was killed was her 34-year-old friend, Claudia, who was accompanying Martha in the taxi. While the fate of the stolen baby is not yet known, the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office stated that the investigation into the incident was carried out within the framework of the murder of women and that the stolen baby was being sought.
