THE MAN WHO COLLECTED LITTLE BUT IS HITTED BY THE TRAIN
At the Kurimi train station in Brno, Czech Republic, a train crashed into a 32-year-old man who went down to the tracks to collect butts. The man, who could not realize that the train was coming, was thrown from the rails to the platform with the effect of the impact. While those moments were reflected on the station’s security camera, the medical team was called to the scene. The man, who was taken to the hospital after first aid, luckily survived. During the controls, it was determined that the man was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
“Fortunately ALIVE AND LUCKY”
“The man who probably didn’t notice the train was continuing to collect the butts,” said David Chaloupka, spokesman for the South Moravian Region Police. He was thrown onto the platform by the impact. The health personnel, called by the train personnel who stopped after the accident, carried out the first examination of the man. Fortunately, he is lucky and alive.”
While the Czech police warned the public against similar attempts to enter the rails, they announced that 8 people were hit by trains in South Moravia alone last year due to their carelessness.
