Terna signed credit lines for 200 million linked to ESG

(Finance) – Ternaoperator of the electricity transmission networks listed on Euronext Milan, ha signed two separate ESG-linked Credit Facility Agreements of € 100 million each, for a total amount of 200 million euros. The credit lines will each have a duration of 3 years, with an interest rate also linked to the performance of Terna in relation to specific environmental, social and governance (ESG) indicators, a note reads.

The two loans were respectively signed with Unicredit And Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, Milan Branch.

The credit lines allow Terna “to be able to count on one liquidity adequate to its financial strength and confirm the strong commitment of the group in introducing a model aimed at increasingly consolidating sustainability as a strategic lever “, is emphasized.
