Term reportedly revealed by Oppenheimer

While a film like Dunkirk still surprised with a compact running time of 106 minutes, Christopher Nolan is probably saying goodbye to shorter blockbusters for good. The director should probably trump his longest film Interstellar (169 minutes) with his upcoming work. Oppenheimer is reportedly as long as Avengers: Endgame.

Nolan’s epic Oppenheimer is said to be his longest film to date

World of Reel reports that former Hollywood Reporter journalist Matt Belloni writes in his newsletter about the rumored running time of Nolan’s new film. Before the theatrical release in July, changes could of course be made to the running time on average. At the moment, however, Oppenheimer is supposed to for a whopping three hours be. It would be Christopher Nolan’s longest film to date.

Oppenheimer is based on the true story surrounding the creation of the first atomic bomb by physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer during World War II. Cillian Murphy stars in Nolan’s upcoming blockbuster Mix of biopic, war film and thriller shall be. The plot is primarily about the moral dilemma surrounding the construction of this weapon of mass destruction.

In addition to Murphy, Oppenheimer also stars Robert Downey Jr., Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Florence Pugh and Matthias Schweighöfer. Nolan’s new film starts in Germany on July 20, 2023 in the cinema.
