Tensions are rising between the two nuclear powers Atomic bomb

Shazia Marri, Pakistan’s Minister of Alleviation of Poverty and Social Security, stated that India should not forget that Pakistan has an atomic bomb and that they will not hesitate to use it if necessary.

According to reports in the national media, Marri threatened India at a press conference in Lahore and said that if New Delhi chooses war, he will get an answer.

OPENLY THREATENED

Marri stated that Pakistan did not acquire nuclear weapons to remain silent, adding that they knew how to respond.

Emphasizing that India should not forget that Pakistan has an atomic bomb, Marri noted that they would not hesitate to use it if necessary.

Marri’s statements followed the backlash after Foreign Minister Bilaval Bhutto Zardari compared Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the “Butcher of Gujarat”.

FROM ZARDARI TO MODI “Butcher”

Zardari, in a statement in New York City, USA on 16 December, described Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as “the butcher of Gujarat”.

There was a reaction from India to Zardari’s statements, and protests were held in some cities.

Under Gujarat’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi was accused of failing to prevent riots in 2002 that killed more than 2,000 people, mostly Muslims. (AA)
