Tens if not hundreds of thousands of Britons gathered on the streets across London on Saturday night in preparation for the upcoming open-air concert.

The Party at the Palace concert will be held as part of the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s reign. The concert will feature well-known stars, among others Alicia Keyes, Diana Ross, Rod Stewart, Elton John, Second place in the Eurovision Song Contest Sam Ryder as well as The Queen as soloist Adam Lambert.

Also the princes Charles mixed William planned to speak at the concert, and other members of the family will also be seen in the royal barn. Instead, the queen herself will not attend the concert.

The Queen also missed the Epsom Derby field race on Saturday, which has been close to her heart in recent years. The horses owned by the Queen have participated in the race for many years. This year, the queen’s barn was represented by her daughter, the Princess Anne.

As early as Saturday, thousands of people began gathering on The Mall in front of Buckingham Palace. The atmosphere in London was palpably joyful.

Saturday also celebrated the one-year birthday of Prince Harry and Meghan’s Lilibet daughter. However, this celebration was celebrated in private, although the royal house congratulated the little one on their social media accounts.

Harry and Meghan will not attend Saturday’s concert, although they did attend the Queen’s Feast Service on Friday. It was their first official appearance in Britain after they relinquished their royal duties and moved to the United States in 2020.

TV2 will perform the concert tomorrow, Sunday, at 7.30 pm.
