The weekly solitude of the Heliodorus was altered again. Normally, except when the first team is training or on match day, the area where the stadium is located is quiet. Those who rent the nearby tennis courts enjoy their game without noise, the neighbors walk their pets relaxed and even the bars in the area work with a certain calm. This time, as happened on the eve of the derby, the monotony was altered.

It is that from nine in the morning the ticket offices of the Rodríguez López were opened so that the subscriber can exchange his season ticket –without paying anything in return-, ahead of the second leg that will be played on Sunday, June 19 against Girona. In addition, they had the possibility of acquiring a ticket at a lower price. That’s why since Monday night there were people waiting.

Minutes before the scheduled time, seven ticket offices were set up that, at a slow but constant pace, were dispatching seats. The queue circled the stadium as thousands of fans flocked to secure their place in the final. For the first time in history, Tenerife can return to the elite playing at home. And that opportunity, nobody wants to miss it.

“For once it’s our turn here and after everything was given against Las Palmas, I couldn’t miss it,” said a fan, already very close to having the ticket in hand. “For me, as if the goal of promotion was scored by Ramis or the goalkeeper at the last minute. I don’t care. The important thing is to go up,” another pointed out.

Throughout the day tickets will continue to be sold and exchanged for subscribers, so the full promises. As of Thursday, the remaining ones will be put on sale for the rest of the fans with prices ranging from 30 to 65 euros. It is a matter of hours before the ‘No tickets’ sign is posted and the Heliodoro, only for a few days, recovers its normality.
