A man has been sentenced to ten years in prison after a sword attack against a man in Ljungby in April. The 40-year-old man is convicted of attempted murder, reports P4 Kronoberg.
He must also pay SEK 275,000 in damages.
The affected man received several wounds to the head and skull with brain damage as a result.
A woman is sentenced at the same time for protecting a criminal. She allegedly tried to wash away blood at the crime scene.
