Ten-year-old died after falling from the roof – suspect the girl’s representative: “Feeling very bad”

It was on Sunday that a ten-year-old girl was taken by ambulance to hospital after falling ten meters from a roof at the Church School in Svedala in Scania. On Monday, it was announced that the girl had died from her injuries.

Now a girl under the age of 15, who is therefore not of legal age, is suspected of causing the death of another. The investigation takes place in accordance with the Act on Special Provisions on Young Offenders.

For Expressen, the suspect is stated by the girl’s legal representative Johanna Lindeblad that no interrogations have yet been held.

– It is a bit early to give any opinion. We will see if there are any suspicions that a crime has been committed after we have had an interrogation, she tells the newspaper and continues:

– My opinion is that I really don’t hope you end up in that. We will see what is said during the interrogation.

Legal representative: “She feels very bad”

The situation that the suspected girl is in, and the spreading of rumors that is going on in the small community, is difficult, according to the legal representative.

– It has been incredibly tragic for everyone involved, she feels very bad at the moment, says Lindeblad to The Express.
