Ten shootings in eight days

A teenage boy was shot dead in Västertorp in southern Stockholm on Thursday. The fatal shooting, which took place shortly before 8 p.m., is the sixth in Sweden in a week.

The bloody wave of violence and many of the shootings must have a clear connection to an internal conflict in the criminal network Foxtrot. The network is said to have split into two phalanxes where key people within Foxtrot turned against gang leader Rawa Majid, also known as the “Kurdish fox”.
