Ten people dead after the shooting suspected death

At 12.30 on February 4, police received alarms about gunfire at Campus Risbergska in Örebro. First, it was said that it was five injured. Now the police have confirmed that these are about ten dead – including the suspected offender.

– I can’t say with certainty that all those killed have been shot, says Roberto Eid ForestHead of the local police area Örebro, at the police’s second press conference.

About ten dead, according to police

– About ten people have been killed after today’s events in Örebro. We can’t say more right now. The suspect is not known to the police before, he continues.

– Why we can’t specify more at this time is that the injury outcome is so great.

The police do not state whether children have also been cared for, but say that they cannot comment on any age range on the dead.

Police: suspected offender death

The suspected offender is dead, police say. They think he acted alone. The police do not exclude anything but believe they have the right perpetrator.

– At present, we do not believe that there is any terror motifs behind it, but it is still early in the investigation.
