The 30 hours of Telethon 2024 end with a total of 79,801,520 euros. This edition will remain in our memories as that of a great advance against Duchenne muscular dystrophy, this emblematic disease at the origin of the creation of the Telethon.
Sacha, 8 years old, treated two years ago with gene therapy as part of a trial, has regained his strength. Today, he runs and climbs the stairs two at a time… The fruit of a fight which owes everything to the determination of families, to the excellence of researchers and, above all, to the commitment and trust of millions of donors and volunteers since 1er Telethon.
The Telethon counter will continue to increase in the coming days because, although the victories are more and more numerous, the families who are faced with the emergency of the disease still need your generosity. 3637 is still open until Friday December 6.
